Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Lorusso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hate Core (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lorusso fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Core to the ground. Lorusso is now in Core's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Hate Core hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Lorusso shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Core pinned against the cage. Core gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lorusso moves in looking to clinch but Core pushes him off.
Core closes the distance and clinches up with Lorusso, looking for a takedown. Core pushes Lorusso against the cage but Lorusso circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Core is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Core makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

A head kick misses from Core.
Lorusso tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Core manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Lorusso lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lorusso.

The ground and pound from Core seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Core stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Core tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lorusso sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Core somewhat.

That was a close second round but I would say that Fred Lorusso will probably get the nod.
