The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Algorithm throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Rakieta Jr tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Algorithm is in Rakieta Jr's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Algorithm postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Rakieta Jr can't keep his opponent in guard - Algorithm advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Algorithm is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rakieta Jr defends it well.
Algorithm wants to free his trapped foot but Rakieta Jr is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Algorithm wants to control but Rakieta Jr is keeping him busy.

Algorithm seems to be looking for submissions.

Algorithm is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Rakieta Jr still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Rakieta Jr has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Algorithm is pressing down on Rakieta Jr's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Algorithm looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rakieta Jr has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Algorithm to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Rakieta Jr is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Algorithm pulls down on the head and he's put Rakieta Jr to sleep! This one is all over!
