The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leisson throws a head kick that Alcado semi-blocks.
Alcado shoots in looking for a takedown. Leisson tries to sprawl out of it but Alcado keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Leisson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Leisson moves into the clinch.
Leisson manages to break the clinch.
Alcado avoids the head kick by Leisson.
Alcado swats away the attempt to clinch by Leisson.
Alcado shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Alcado showed some decent athleticism there.
Alcado wants to free his trapped foot but Leisson is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Leisson keeping control of the position.
Nice strikes from Alcado there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alcado frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Leisson wants to control but Alcado is having none of it.
Leisson has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Leisson trying to control the action but Alcado just sinks the hooks in.
Leisson is in bad spot here.
Alcado is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Leisson with him. Leisson is trying to defend but Alcado has an arm under the chin now! Leisson grimaces and is forced to tap out!
