The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurze uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dawkins has time to react.
Richard Dawkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dawkins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kurze.
Dawkins looks to score with a jab to the body but Kurze is just out of range.
Dawkins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kurze manages to avoid it.
Dawkins throws a series of punches but Kurze avoids them all with ease.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Kurze is looking to take a break and control but Dawkins is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kurze takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
