Cardosa is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pennywise - Bro Hymn. Geoff Varney is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Felix Cardosa!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Varney tries to clinch but Cardosa moves away
so Cardosa counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Cardosa working some strikes from top position.
Cardosa postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Varney throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Cardosa wants to pass the guard but Varney is keeping the position.
Cardosa advances to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cardosa is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Varney has managed to free his arm - good work.
Nice strikes from Cardosa there.
Cardosa takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Varney tries to roll over but Cardosa keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cardosa is looking for a kimura but Varney is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cardosa to get the leverage.
Cardosa throwing shots but Varney is blocking nicely.
Cardosa thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Varney's head.
Varney gets full guard.
Cardosa pushes down on Varney's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Varney keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Varney is looking to improve his position.
Varney regains full guard. Nicely done.
Varney has momentary wrist control but Cardosa slips an elbow through the middle.

Varney is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cardosa arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Varney's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Felix Cardosa!
