Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bill Jimson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Experience Test (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Experience Test has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Bill Jimson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimson shoots and misses

and Test counters with a nice double leg into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jimson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Test stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jimson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Test is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Experience Test hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Test takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Test throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Test misses with a hook. Jimson ducked under it nicely.
Jimson is looking to clinch but Test is avoiding it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jimson misses with a takedown attempt

and Test decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jimson's guard.

Test is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Jimson is pulling down on Test's head. It's preventing any offense from Test, at least for the moment.

Jimson really is a fat lump.
Test throws a big elbow that misses.
Test controls from within his opponent's guard.
Test trying to control the position from guard on top but Jimson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Test working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Experience Test showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Jimson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Test, pushing him back against the cage.
Jimson is pressed up against the cage. Test has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jimson down to the mat. Jimson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Jimson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Test sprawls well. Test wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jimson gets slowly back to his feet.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Test accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Let's hope that Test has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
