Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thaddeus Bender (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson closes the distance and pushes Bender back into the cage.
Bender's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Bender wants to break free but Johnson has control.

Johnson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Johnson has taken the fight to the clinch.

Bender could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Johnson manages to break the clinch.
Bender avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bender keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Thaddeus Bender has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Johnson.

Bender goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Johnson shoots in and drives through. Bender sprawls well.
Johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Johnson rushes Bender and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Bender stops a takedown attempt from Johnson.

Johnson jumps into guard, dragging Bender to the mat.
Bender throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Johnson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

OK we're going to have a standup here. John Johnson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Johnson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bender's sensitive parts.

Johnson moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Bender misses with a wild combination.
Bender takes a kick to the side of the head.

Johnson pulls guard effortlessly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bender trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Johnson pulls Bender in close to prevent any damage.
Bender might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bender but Bender pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Johnson drops Bender with a beautiful combination! Bender stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Johnson is looking for the KO!

Bender is rocked!

Johnson lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Bender out cold! Bender is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
