Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Venture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cedric Yerly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Venture comes into the arena with Party Hard by Andrew W.K. blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Yerly's choice of entrance music: Hymne fribourgeois . Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venture clinches up with Yerly and pushes him back against the cage.
Venture is looking to break free of the clinch but Yerly has double underhooks.
Venture is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Yerly is defending well for now.
Venture tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Venture tries a body shot but Yerly blocks it.
Yerly lands a takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Yerly accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Yerly trying to control the position from guard on top but Venture is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Yerly cracks Venture with a solid left hand.
Venture keeping moving, preventing Yerly from controlling successfully.
Venture throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Yerly wants to control from the top but Venture keeps moving.
Venture avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Yerly throws a big right hand that misses.
Venture is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Yerly defends well.
Yerly postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Yerly postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Yerly throws a big right hand that misses.
Yerly with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Yerly is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yerly postures up and lands a big shot to Venture's brow.
Yerly content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Venture has locked up a guillotine! Venture's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Yerly is holding on here and Venture must be using up a lot of energy. Yerly has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Venture gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jason Venture!
A relieved looking Jason Venture thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
