Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lars Thunstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esteban Delgado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thunstrom comes to the cage accompanied by Prodigy - Spitfire. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delgado lands with a thumping leg kick.
Thunstrom fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A jab from Thunstrom misses.
Thunstrom scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Delgado moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A combination from Thunstrom does no damage.
Thunstrom swings for the body but Delgado moves out of range.
Delgado tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Thunstrom counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Delgado wants to clinch up but Thunstrom keeps it at a distance.
Thunstrom looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Thunstrom fails with the takedown.
The fight stays on the outside here - Delgado looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nice body punch from Thunstrom.
A nice inside leg kick there by Delgado. That's going to slow Thunstrom down.

and Delgado counters with a nice double leg into side control. Thunstrom won't be happy with that.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Delgado is trying to ground and pound but Thunstrom uses the momentary lack of control by Delgado to regain half guard.
Delgado thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Thunstrom's head.

Delgado wants to work for an arm triangle but Thunstrom is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Thunstrom is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Delgado pulls his head out easily.
Delgado seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Thunstrom does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Delgado slips a nice elbow through Thunstrom's hands, connecting with Thunstrom's forehead.
Delgado working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Thunstrom's thigh. Thunstrom counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Delgado is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Delgado is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Thunstrom has latched onto it... Big trouble! Thunstrom pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Delgado is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Thunstrom!
