Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wade Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Wade Wilson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wade Wilson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Don Andrews!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson wants to clinch.

Wilson gets caught flat footed, as Andrews shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Wilson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Andrews is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wilson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Andrews's back instead.

Wilson working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.

Wilson is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Andrews is defending well though. Wilson let's go of the attempt for now.
Andrews breaks Wilson's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Andrews gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Andrews wants to clinch
and Wilson counters with a straight right hand.

Wilson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Andrews counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Andrews is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wilson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Andrews.
Andrews takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Andrews is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Wilson tries to get to full guard but Andrews has control of the leg.

Wilson is breathing heavily.
Andrews trying to control the action but Wilson is working from the bottom.

Andrews throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Andrews seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wilson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Andrews is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Wilson!
Andrews looking to control but Wilson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Andrews wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Wilson is looking to improve his position but Andrews isn't that keen on the idea.

Andrews is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Andrews wants to clinch but Wilson slips to the side
and Wilson counters with a slapping leg kick.
Wilson shoots and misses

and Andrews counters with a single leg into guard. Wilson didn't expect that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wilson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Andrews doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Andrews manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Andrews gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Andrews takes the fight into the clinch.
Wilson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Andrews gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wade Wilson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Andrews misses with a hook from the clinch.

Wilson manages to pull guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wilson is looking for a triangle but Andrews pushes his legs off easily.

Andrews decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Wilson, up you get!
Wilson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Andrews circles away.

and Andrews counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Wilson!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Andrews stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wilson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wilson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Andrews holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Don Andrews dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Wilson with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Andrews tries to reverse the position but Wilson maintains control.

Wilson jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Andrews manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Andrews is breathing heavily.

Wilson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Andrews, who protects the arm well.
Andrews seems to have recovered his senses.

Wilson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wilson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Wilson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Andrews is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Andrews is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Wilson is controlling him well.
Andrews regains half guard.
Wilson uses his free foot to push down on Andrews's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Andrews.

Wilson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Andrews is surviving well by controlling Wilson's body position as best he can.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wilson prevents Andrews from getting the reversal.

Andrews tries to hold on but Wilson pushes him away.
Andrews is trying to escape the mount.
Andrews slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Andrews gets full guard.
Andrews manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wilson manages to get himself to full guard.

Andrews stands up from Wilson's guard - Andrews perhaps looking for a knockout.
Wilson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Andrews is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Wilson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Andrews is looking to defend but Wilson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Andrews! Wilson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Andrews taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Wade Wilson!
