Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hiro Miyagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xi Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dong has chosen Long Dong Jam as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miyagi feints and as Dong raises his hands in defense, Miyagi changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Miyagi wants to control from the top but Dong keeps moving.

Dong is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

so Miyagi counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Dong working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Miyagi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Miyagi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Dong is looking to reverse the position.

Dong wants to control but Miyagi postures up.
Dong parries the strikes from Miyagi easily there. Miyagi is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Dong to escape.
Dong stops Miyagi from passing to mount.
Miyagi works to advance to full mount. Dong defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Miyagi is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Dong is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
