Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Jacques De Molay!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Diaz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Molay swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Molay lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Molay darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Molay gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Diaz to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Molay throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Diaz on the side of the head.

Diaz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Molay manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Diaz shoots in and bounces Molay off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Diaz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Diaz is trying to drag Molay to the mat but Molay just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Molay enables Diaz to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Molay manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Diaz looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Diaz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
