Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cary Stout!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marc Devos!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devos fails to land the takedown.
Devos tries to clinch but Stout is having none of it.

Stout closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Devos managing to block the knees to the body from Stout.
Devos wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Stout pulls guard successfully.
Devos looking to pass the guard.
Stout controls Devos momentarily but Devos frees himself.
Stout striking off his back, scoring a few points.
Devos looking to sit in guard and control but Stout gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Devos is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Stout wants to control from the top but Devos keeps moving.
Devos is trying to control the position but Stout postures up.

Devos looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Stout passes into side control.
Devos is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Devos is looking to regain half guard here but Stout keeps moving and retains side control.

Stout is looking to take a break and control but Devos is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Devos is looking to improve his position but Stout isn't that keen on the idea.
Stout lands a couple of good shots and Devos has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Stout gets his hands free as Devos looks to control.

Devos is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Stout manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Devos on his heels. He'll look to pass Devos's guard now, I'm sure.

Devos thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Cary Stout overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Devos pulls Stout in close to prevent any damage.

The referee asks Stout politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Stout prefers to stall for the moment though.
Devos is working to avoid the ground and pound but Stout connects with a decent elbow.
Devos is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Stout is controlling him well.
Devos is breathing heavily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Devos tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Stout wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Devos seems a little lost for a moment, as Stout dominates the positioning.
Stout wants to stand but Devos is controlling his arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stout wants to lay and pray for a moment but Devos keeps working.
Devos tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Devos trying to control but Stout flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

Devos defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Stout's arms.
Stout is not going to allow Devos to sit and survive in this position.

Stout is persistently looking for the submission but Devos is defending it well.
What can Devos do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Devos tries to break free.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Stout fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Devos sprawls well initially but Stout persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Devos is trying to stand up here but Stout is controlling him well.
Devos is looking to control Stout's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Devos avoid being mounted?

Stout is working for a kimura but Devos is defending it quite comfortably.
Devos is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Devos is still trying to improve position.

Stout thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Devos's head.
Devos slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Stout looking to pass the guard.
Devos is looking to stand up but Stout isn't so interested in that idea.
Stout not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Stout is looking to work some ground and pound but Devos has wrist control.

We're going to have a standup here because Cary Stout wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Devos clinches up with Stout and pushes him back against the cage.

and Stout counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Devos takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Stout is pushing down on Devos's leg trying to pass to half guard. Devos is fighting to maintain full guard but Stout has managed to sneak the leg through.
Stout wants to control but Devos is keeping him busy.
Stout is really struggling to control Devos but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Stout seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
