Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Federic DelNero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshi Yoshida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshi Yoshida!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshida steps to the side to avoid the strikes from DelNero.
Yoshida shoots in and drives through. DelNero sprawls well.
Yoshida shoots in but DelNero avoids the takedown attempt easily.
DelNero is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
DelNero tries a head kick but it misses.
DelNero throws a wild body kick that Yoshida sees coming a mile off.
DelNero tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Federic DelNero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
DelNero tries to clinch there but Yoshida circles away.

Yoshida shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in DelNero's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Yoshida accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Yoshida is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
DelNero is trying to control the position from the bottom.
DelNero manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Yoshida manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Yoshida drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and DelNero dives on top into guard.

Yoshida working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. DelNero doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. DelNero manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
DelNero stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yoshida swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Yoshida changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. DelNero tries to avoid it but Yoshida manages to keep hold of a leg and drag DelNero to the ground. DelNero escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

DelNero throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

DelNero swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

DelNero misses with a series of wild punches.
DelNero keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Yoshida shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts DelNero as he jumps to the side.

DelNero dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Yoshida. That did some damage!
DelNero tries to bum rush Yoshida with a series of wild strikes but Yoshida uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
