Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zachary Patrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean McFly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McFly has chosen Shine - Collective Soul as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zachary Patrick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sean McFly!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McFly pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Patrick defending well as McFly loads up on a big left hand.

Patrick takes the fight into the clinch.
McFly working aggressively here.
McFly struggles to land a body shot inside as Patrick controls his hands.
McFly controlling the action here for a moment.
Patrick wants to take the fight to the mat but McFly manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
McFly is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McFly misses with a punch to the body.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for McFly.
McFly tries a body shot but Patrick blocks it.
Patrick misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from McFly.
McFly throws a head punch that misses.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Sean McFly.
Patrick is trying hard to land a takedown here. McFly sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Patrick fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zachary Patrick. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McFly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Patrick was well out of range. Poor timing from McFly.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McFly rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Patrick makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from McFly. Patrick does a little dance to reset his feet.
Patrick tries for a takedown but McFly sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
McFly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Patrick was well out of range. Poor timing from McFly.
Patrick shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McFly defends it nicely.
Zachary Patrick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Patrick moves into the clinch.
McFly just leaning against Patrick, taking a breather.
McFly misses with a punch to the body.
Patrick wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but McFly has him pressed against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Patrick gets underhooks to prevent McFly's takedown attempt.
McFly's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
McFly swings wildly with an uppercut but Patrick uses good head movement to avoid it.

McFly works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Patrick throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
McFly throwing strikes from guard but Patrick blocks nicely.
McFly keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Patrick's head.
McFly trying to control but Patrick is working from the bottom.
McFly has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
McFly is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
McFly showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sean McFly wasn't active enough on the ground.
McFly leaves Patrick with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Patrick moves into range and clinches up with McFly.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

McFly is struggling to control the position.

McFly wants the takedown. Patrick is fighting it off but McFly persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Patrick's guard against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sean McFly dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!



McFly closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Patrick's guard.
McFly trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Patrick is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
McFly working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
McFly lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Patrick is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Patrick keeping moving, preventing McFly from controlling successfully.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McFly accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
McFly postures up and lands a big shot to Patrick's brow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McFly trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McFly working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
McFly is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
McFly wants to control from the top but Patrick keeps moving.
McFly connects with a couple of short punches.
McFly passes Patrick's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
McFly is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McFly looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Patrick with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
McFly looks to score some points with some ground and pound.


Patrick is rocked!
McFly is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Oh Patrick is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
McFly works his foot free and advances to mount.
Patrick really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McFly lands a big elbow - Patrick is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Patrick is forced to tap out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Sean McFly!
An out of breath Sean McFly thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
