Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cowherd moves into the clinch.

Connor is looking to control Cowherd's arms but Cowherd gets an underhook and turns him. Now Connor has his back to the ropes.

Connor jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cowherd walks away with a smile on his face. Connor gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Connor tries to close the distance and clinch but Cowherd swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cowherd tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Connor paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Connor scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Cowherd wants to get back to full guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Cowherd wants to take a breather but Connor is having none of it.

Cowherd drops Connor onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Connor is propped up by the ropes and works his way back to his feet!

Cowherd lands with a short shot to the head.
Connor is still on wobbly legs! Can Cowherd finish him?
Cowherd throws a big uppercut that drops Connor! More strikes from Cowherd and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Connor lies dazed against the ropes as Cowherd celebrates with his cornermen!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brian Cowherd!
