Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dan Hoss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Armando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leo Armando has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dan Hoss's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dan Hoss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leo Armando! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoss misses with a leg kick and Armando counters with a body kick that stops Hoss in his tracks momentarily. Armando fails with an attempt to clinch.
Armando stuffs the takedown. Hoss keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Armando throws a sloppy head kick and Hoss moves out of range easily. Armando shoots for a takedown but Hoss saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hoss misses with a few strikes there.

and Hoss counters with a takedown into side control. Dan Hoss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leo Armando. Armando being controlled for a moment. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hoss's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
 That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Armando's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Armando tries to bench press Hoss off him but Hoss keeps the position. Armando on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Armando tries to roll over but Hoss keeps him under control. Hoss is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Armando wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hoss.
Hoss wants to finish this one by submission but Armando is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hoss. Armando is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Hoss has taken his back.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hoss goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Armando escapes and is now in half guard on top.
Hoss kicks Armando off and gets back to his feet. Armando is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hoss sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Armando tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hoss paws at him with a jab and circles away. Armando fails with a takedown attempt. Armando looks winded!
Hoss closes the distance and clinches.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hoss breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Armando stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Armando wants it to stay on the feet.
Hoss closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Hoss.
Hoss jumps guard and drags Armando to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Hoss looking to control but Armando passes into half guard.
Hoss throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hoss is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Hoss dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Armando shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hoss defends it nicely. Nice takedown defense from Armando. No joy for Hoss on that attempt. Armando is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hoss sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Hoss tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hoss gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Hoss takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Hoss displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Armando. Dan Hoss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leo Armando. Armando tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hoss defends well and Armando ends up having to push Hoss into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
 That's one minute gone in the round.

Hoss looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Armando passes into side control.
Armando wants to control but Hoss is keeping him busy. Dan Hoss overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hoss is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Armando tries to pass to full mount but Hoss defends it. Armando is breathing heavily. Hoss works his way to full guard. Good work.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hoss has his feet on Armando's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Armando looks for a takedown but Hoss sprawls well. Armando tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hoss paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hoss changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Armando tries to avoid it but Hoss manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Armando to the ground. Armando escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Armando doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hoss counters by clinching up. Both guys are working to get underhooks. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hoss escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoss misses with the combination.
Hoss moves into the clinch successfully.
Hoss jumps guard but Armando stands there with Hoss around his waist. Hoss gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Hoss looking to hit a scissor sweep but Armando is one step ahead there. Hoss is looking to stand up but Armando isn't so interested in that idea.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Armando postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Hoss keeping moving, preventing Armando from controlling successfully. Armando is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
 OK we're going to have a standup here. Leo Armando hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Armando will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hoss stuffs the takedown. Hoss shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Armando pinned against the cage. Armando gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Dan Hoss will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Armando shoots in but no luck this time. Hoss shoots in for a takedown but Armando shows good takedown defense. Armando thumps Hoss with a low kick. Armando throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hoss's head. Hoss scores with a nice body kick.
Armando moves in looking to clinch but Hoss pushes him off. Armando takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hoss throws a combination that misses and Armando counters with a right hand to the body. Hoss tries for a takedown but Armando sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Armando circles away from the clinch attempt.
Armando fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Hoss tries to clinch and Armando finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Hoss with a lazy takedown attempt and Armando counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Hoss. That's going to take a lot out of him. Armando lands with a thumping leg kick.
Armando closes the distance and clinches. Armando lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Hoss or not.
Hoss pulls guard effortlessly. Hoss keeping moving, preventing Armando from controlling successfully. Armando wants to stand but Hoss has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hoss working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Armando doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Armando manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Hoss keeping moving, preventing Armando from controlling successfully. Armando stops Hoss from standing up.
Armando stands up from guard. Let's bang! Armando throws a good cross that connects.

and Armando counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Dan Hoss is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Armando instigates a clinch. Hoss jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Armando walks away with a smile on his face. Hoss gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Armando pushes Hoss away with a front kick.
Armando gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Armando is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hoss to keep the fight standing. A knee to the head by Armando.
Armando's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hoss gets the takedown into side control. Hoss controlling the position from side mount.
Hoss decides to take the fight back to the feet.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Hoss throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Armando cracks a nice hook into Hoss's ribs. Hoss is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Armando closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Armando controlling from side mount. Leo Armando has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dan Hoss is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hoss sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Leo Armando comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Hoss has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
