Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Timmy Crain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Aluko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Timmy Crain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Martin Aluko!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aluko throws a lazy body kick
and Crain counters with a good low kick that Aluko was not able to check.
Aluko misses with a body shot.
Aluko avoids a kick to the body.
Aluko has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Aluko is looking to clinch but Crain is avoiding it.
Aluko misses with a combination
and Crain connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Aluko wants to clinch up but Crain keeps it at a distance.
Crain has a takedown stuffed.
Crain tries for a takedown but Aluko sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Aluko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Aluko tries to clinch but Crain moves out of range.
Crain slips a jab and a cross from Aluko.
Aluko throws a left and a right that both miss
and Crain counters with a nice body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Aluko takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Aluko darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Horrible takedown by Crain or perhaps it was just good defense by Aluko which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Timmy Crain. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Aluko is looking to clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Crain.
Aluko tries for a takedown but Crain sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Crain misses with an uppercut.

Aluko stuffs the takedown attempt from Crain. Crain gets slowly back to his feet.
Aluko wants to clinch.

Crain goes for a double leg but Aluko avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Aluko continues to drive forward.
Crain gets through Aluko's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Crain breaks from the clinch.
Crain looks to score with a jab to the body but Aluko is just out of range.
Aluko looks to clinch
and Crain counters with a right hand to the body.
Crain shoots in looking for a takedown but Aluko manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Crain's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Crain fails with a takedown attempt.
Aluko wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Crain has a takedown stuffed.
Aluko closes the distance looking to clinch
and Crain counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Crain is looking to wear down Aluko with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Crain connects with a single shot there.
Aluko tries to close the distance and clinch up but Crain swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Aluko closes the distance and pushes Crain back into the cage.

Crain breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Crain tries for a takedown but Aluko sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Crain.
Crain avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Crain circles away from the clinch attempt.
Aluko throws a series of punches but Crain avoids them all with ease.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

and Crain counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Aluko throws a one two combo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Crain lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.


Aluko is rocked!

Aluko scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Aluko is still in real trouble! Can Crain finish him?
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Crain gets full guard.

Crain is looking for a triangle but Aluko pushes his legs off easily.
Aluko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crain. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Aluko lying in Crain's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Crain decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Aluko taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
