Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hung Underwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taran Zu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hung Underwood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Taran Zu!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Underwood moves into the clinch.
Underwood manages to pull guard.
Underwood looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Underwood keeping moving, preventing Zu from controlling successfully.
Underwood throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Zu wants to get up but he can't break Underwood's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Underwood pulls Zu in to control the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Underwood shoots in for a takedown but Zu shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Zu enables Underwood to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Zu manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Underwood slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Zu looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Underwood drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Underwood jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

We're going to have a standup here because Hung Underwood wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Underwood throws a head kick that misses.

Zu shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Underwood sprawls well. Underwood wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Zu gets slowly back to his feet.
Underwood throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Zu.
Underwood closes the distance and clinches up with Zu, looking for a takedown. Underwood pushes Zu against the cage but Zu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Underwood tightens his grip and picks Zu up, before dumping him to the ground. Zu manages to land in guard.

Underwood stands up from Zu's guard - Underwood perhaps looking for a knockout.
Underwood tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Underwood somewhat.

Underwood closes the distance and clinches.
Underwood changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Zu fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Zu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Underwood swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Zu gets caught napping as Underwood dives in and scores a takedown. Zu manages to retain guard.
Zu is working an open guard so Underwood takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Zu leaves Underwood with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Underwood tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Zu just stands there and leans against the cage.
Zu manages to break the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Underwood, right into the meat.
Underwood decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Underwood really is a fat lump.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Zu shoots in for a double leg but Underwood sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Underwood fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Zu, pushing him back against the cage.
Underwood is trying to trip Zu. He has hold of a leg but Zu is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Underwood persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Zu utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Underwood throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Zu works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Underwood might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Zu looking for a guillotine here but Underwood defends easily.

Zu is breathing heavily.

Underwood pushes down on Zu's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Underwood throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Underwood has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hung Underwood has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Underwood dives in and grabs Zu's left leg, looking for a takedown. Zu pushes down on Underwood's head and hops out.
Underwood shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Zu's guard.
Zu looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Underwood passes into side control.
Underwood stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Underwood moves into the clinch successfully.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Zu wanted to stand there but Underwood had control of the position.
Zu wants to stand and escape but instead Underwood has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Underwood slips nicely into half guard.
Underwood content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Underwood has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Zu is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Underwood pulls his head out easily.

Underwood decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Zu throws a hook but Underwood avoids it easily.

Underwood shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Underwood was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Underwood tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Underwood has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Zu parries the strikes from Underwood easily there. Underwood is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Zu to escape.
Zu is looking for a sweep.
Underwood controls the position.

Underwood misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
A control attempt from Zu but he's now mounted!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zu tries to control the position but Underwood now has his back.
Underwood controlling the position well here. Zu rolled but Underwood kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Underwood is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Zu is defending well though. Underwood let's go of the attempt for now.
