Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tomas Aldebaran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Snooka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldebaran throws a left and a right that both miss
and Snooka cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Snooka throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Aldebaran was covering up waiting for the punch and Snooka finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Snooka trying to control the position from guard on top but Aldebaran is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Snooka sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Aldebaran's guard.

Snooka wants to get up but he can't break Aldebaran's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Snooka tries to free his leg and advance position but Aldebaran is retaining full guard.

Snooka moves forwards but Aldebaran connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Aldebaran changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Snooka tries to avoid it but Aldebaran manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Snooka to the ground. Snooka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Snooka should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Aldebaran stalks Snooka and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Snooka's face. Snooka staggers backwards, shaken.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tomas Aldebaran.
I think Snooka has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
