The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hendricks is defended easily by Rhys.

Rhys shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hendricks pinned against the cage. Hendricks gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rhys darts in looking for a takedown but Hendricks gets double underhooks and turns Rhys into the cage.

Hendricks has Rhys pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rhys manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
