Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Millar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, George St Pierre!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Millar tries to clinch up.
Millar misses with a takedown attempt - St Pierre sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
We've been hearing reports that Millar has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Millar fakes a jab and throws a low kick but St Pierre checks it well.

A momentary lapse in concentration from St Pierre enables Millar to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. St Pierre manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Millar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Millar crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from St Pierre - the referee stops the clock and Millar gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says St Pierre. Millar manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

That was a close second round but I would say that Michael Millar will probably get the nod.

Millar is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but St Pierre is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
St Pierre is looking to regain half guard here but Millar keeps moving and retains side control.

St Pierre throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Millar ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Millar no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

I would just about give that final round to George St Pierre.
