Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rob Boudreault (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Kingsbury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rob Boudreault!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kenny Kingsbury!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boudreault tries to close the distance and clinch but Kingsbury swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kingsbury bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Boudreault's head.
Kingsbury scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Kingsbury slaps away a takedown attempt from Boudreault, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Boudreault has closed the distance and engaged Kingsbury in a clinch.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Boudreault.
Kingsbury scores with a shot to the side of Boudreault's head.

Boudreault manages to pull guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Boudreault wants to stand and escape but Kingsbury is having none of it.
Kingsbury is looking to stand up but Boudreault won't let him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boudreault is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Boudreault passes to side control.
Boudreault wants to control but Kingsbury is keeping him busy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kingsbury struggling a bit here.
Boudreault has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Kingsbury!
Kingsbury really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Boudreault avoids the attempt from Kingsbury to control.
Boudreault thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Boudreault wants to control the pace but Kingsbury is squirming around nicely.

Boudreault has control of Kingsbury's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kingsbury regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boudreault prevents Kingsbury from getting the reversal.
A nice elbow there by Boudreault.

Kingsbury tries to reverse the position but Boudreault maintains control.
Boudreault landing punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Boudreault throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Boudreault tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Kingsbury holds on to Boudreault around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks.
Boudreault has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kingsbury's face.
Boudreault lands a big elbow.
Boudreault throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Kingsbury tries to lock up and control but Boudreault gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Boudreault punching from mount but Kingsbury doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Kingsbury really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boudreault. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boudreault throws some wild stikes that Kingsbury manages to avoid easily.
Boudreault cracks Kingsbury with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.


Kingsbury is rocked!
Kingsbury is desperately trying to improve his position but Boudreault has a good base and remains in mount.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Boudreault with a couple of short strikes.
Kingsbury is still in real trouble! Can Boudreault finish him?
Boudreault has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Boudreault postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Kingsbury is out cold - huge knockout for Boudreault!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rob Boudreault!
