Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rusty Britt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chen Stormstout!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stormstout tries to clinch

and Britt counters by clinching up.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Britt is on top in guard.

Britt thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Britt passes Stormstout's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Britt really is a fat lump.
Britt takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Stormstout really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Britt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Britt passes to side control.

Britt decides to stand back up. Britt steps back and let's Stormstout get back to his feet.

Britt closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Britt lands in his opponent's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Britt seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Stormstout for as long as he can get away with.

Britt stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Stormstout closes the distance looking to clinch

and Britt holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Stormstout has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Britt drags the fight down to the ground.

Britt is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Britt has Stormstout pressed against the cage, preventing Stormstout from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Britt jumps guard and drags Stormstout to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Britt bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stormstout's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Britt controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Stormstout is working an open guard so Britt takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Britt throws a series of punches but Stormstout moves out of range.

Britt misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rusty Britt is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Britt throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Stormstout tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Britt is in Stormstout's guard.
Stormstout is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Britt has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Britt is trying for a kimura here. Stormstout looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Britt wins by kimura!
