Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kennedy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Killing in the name of - Rage against the Machine!. Steele is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cinderella Man. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy scores with a jab.
Steele fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
John Kennedy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kennedy bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Steele's head backwards.
Kennedy scores with a nice head shot.
Steele moves out of range of the strikes.
A jab from Kennedy finds it's way through Steele's defenses.
Steele shoots in but Kennedy avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kennedy thumps Steele with a low kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

John Kennedy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Steele.
Kennedy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Steele has time to react.

Steele is rocked!

It looks like George Steele has been cut.
Kennedy cracks Steele with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Steele tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Kennedy pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Steele is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
