Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 13 - 3, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrew Havener!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nick Hendricks!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendricks avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Havener moves in looking to clinch but Hendricks pushes him off.
Havener definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Havener tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hendricks manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Havener is pressed up against the cage. Hendricks has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Havener down to the mat. Havener avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Havener working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hendricks doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hendricks manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hendricks got a little sloppy there for a moment and Havener has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hendricks has managed to get both his arms back between Havener's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
