The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blake misses with an uppercut

and Marrow counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Blake!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Marrow wants to control but Blake is keeping him busy.

You can see the frustration on Blake's face as Marrow controls the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blake is not content to let Marrow control the position.

Marrow tries to keep at a distance but Blake has taken the fight into the clinch.

Marrow shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Blake defends it nicely.
Marrow shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Blake sprawls well. Blake wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Marrow gets slowly back to his feet.
Philip Blake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Marrow counters with a nice low kick that buckles Blake's knee momentarily.
Blake is looking to clinch but Marrow is avoiding it.
Marrow ducks right into an uppercut from Blake.
Philip Blake is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Blake misses with a left hand

and Marrow holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Marrow tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Franklin Marrow. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Blake scores with a shoulder strike.

Blake lands a body punch in the clinch.

Blake breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Blake connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Blake darts in and clinches Marrow up against the cage.
Marrow tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Blake smiles and moves away.
Marrow tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Blake manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Blake.
Blake tries to clinch but Marrow moves out of range.
Marrow takes one on the chin but seems OK.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Marrow gets tackled into the cage by Blake. Blake maintains the clinch.
Blake prevents a takedown attempt there.
Marrow jumps guard but Blake turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Marrow is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Blake gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Marrow trying to control the position but instead, Blake has worked for underhooks and has pushed Marrow into the cage.

Marrow lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Blake tries to roll over but Marrow keeps him under control.
Marrow is trying to control the action in half guard but Blake is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marrow closes the distance but Blake moves to the side

and Blake counters with a nice right hand that sends Marrow toppling to the canvas! Marrow scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Blake finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
