The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yamamoto closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mills quickly recovers to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yamamoto wants to control but Mills is keeping him busy.
Mills really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yamamoto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Yamamoto is controlling the pace.
Yamamoto looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Mills is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We've been hearing that Yamamoto has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Yamamoto has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Yamamoto has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Mills defend it? Yamamoto steps over the head and cranks it - Mills is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Yamamoto!
