Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Abe Gorgis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz fails with a takedown attempt.
Cruz goes for a double leg but Gorgis avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gorgis continues to drive forward.
Gorgis is struggling to control the position.
Cruz avoids a wild elbow strike from Gorgis.
Gorgis stops a takedown attempt from Cruz.
Abe Gorgis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Victor Cruz.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Gorgis.
Cruz wants to break the clinch but can't.

Cruz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A low kick from Gorgis is predictable there
and Cruz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Cruz lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Gorgis throws a body kick that misses
and Cruz counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gorgis throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cruz throws a head kick but Gorgis moves out of range.
Cruz throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Cruz shoots for a takedown but Gorgis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gorgis throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Gorgis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gorgis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Gorgis has an Americana. Cruz didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gorgis is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gorgis hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
