Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lou Nahtic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Satoshi Chiba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chiba has chosen Gwiyomi as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Satoshi Chiba!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nahtic has managed to clinch.
Nahtic really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Chiba throws a punch but it's blocked by Nahtic.
Chiba wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Nahtic pulls Chiba into guard.
Chiba drops back, looking for a kneebar! Nahtic looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Nahtic looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Nahtic!

Nahtic wants to get back to his feet.
Chiba is staying active underneath Nahtic, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Nahtic knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chiba on the ground.
Chiba is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nahtic is aware though and is defending well.
Chiba had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Nahtic defends it easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chiba working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nahtic doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nahtic manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Nahtic decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Satoshi Chiba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chiba shoots for a double leg takedown but Nahtic sprawls well. He's pushed Chiba's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Chiba misses with a double jab.
Chiba throws a one two combo.
Chiba misses with a two punch combination.
Nahtic rushes Chiba and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Chiba tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Nahtic just stands there and leans against the cage.
Nahtic breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Chiba uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Nahtic.
Chiba misses with a two punch combination.
Nahtic throws a lazy uppercut
and Chiba counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Chiba punishes Nahtic's body with a nice straight punch.
Chiba fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Nahtic dodges the punch combination from Chiba.
Chiba displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nahtic throws out the jab.
Chiba changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Chiba fails to land with a series of punches.
Nahtic rushes Chiba and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Chiba tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Nahtic's elbow.
Nahtic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Chiba uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Nahtic.
Nahtic stuffs the takedown.
Lou Nahtic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Satoshi Chiba.
Nahtic scores with a jab. Chiba acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Chiba has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Nahtic finds it's way round the side to connect with Chiba's head.
Nahtic shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Chiba napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Chiba looks winded!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nahtic is chipping away with strikes.

Nahtic decides to stand back up.
Chiba misses with the combination.
Chiba misses with a few strikes there.
Chiba avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nahtic misses with a series of wild punches.
Nahtic has taken the fight to the clinch.
Chiba tries a body shot but Nahtic blocks it.
Chiba fails to pull the fight into his guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nahtic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nahtic moves into the clinch.
Chiba is trying to pull guard but Nahtic turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Satoshi Chiba will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Chiba misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nahtic has managed to clinch.
Nahtic keeps control of Chiba as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Chiba is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Nahtic has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Chiba uses from the top position.

My spies in Cozad MMA Tokyo inform me that Chiba has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Chiba passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Nahtic!

Nahtic has left one of his arms exposed and Chiba doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Nahtic screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Satoshi Chiba decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
