Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jerome Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcosis Muchismo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jerome Wilson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marcosis Muchismo!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Muchismo moves into range and clinches up with Wilson.
Wilson is trying to pull guard but Muchismo has him pressed against the cage.

Muchismo jumps guard.
Muchismo wants to sweep but no luck.
Wilson wants to control from the top but Muchismo keeps moving.
Muchismo looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Muchismo is on top in guard.
Wilson keeping full guard, as Muchismo tries to pass.
Muchismo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Wilson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Wilson is trying to control the position but Muchismo postures up.

Muchismo won't allow Wilson to sweep him here.
Wilson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Muchismo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Muchismo stands up over Wilson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Wilson controls Muchismo momentarily but Muchismo frees himself.
Wilson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Wilson has a closed guard, preventing Muchismo from standing up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jerome Wilson.
Muchismo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Muchismo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wilson as he avoids it easily.

Wilson is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Muchismo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Wilson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wilson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wilson!
Muchismo gets back to half guard.
Muchismo slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Muchismo is looking to sweep but instead, Wilson has passed into half guard.

Muchismo has his hands clasped together around Wilson's back. He's all about the action.
Muchismo wants to get back to full guard.
Muchismo is staying active underneath Wilson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Muchismo misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Muchismo makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Muchismo.

Muchismo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wilson defends well.

Muchismo has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Wilson.

Muchismo clinches.
Muchismo wants to take the fight to the mat but Wilson manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Muchismo pulls guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Muchismo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wilson is one step ahead there.
Muchismo working a defensive guard but Wilson manages to pass into side control anyway.

Wilson trying to control the action but Muchismo is working from the bottom.
Muchismo is trying to improve his position.
Muchismo is not content to let Wilson control the position.
You can see the frustration on Muchismo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Muchismo is trying to get back to half guard.
Marcosis Muchismo has got the better of the ground game so far.
Muchismo pushes Wilson away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Wilson gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Wilson is looking to take a break and control but Muchismo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Wilson sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Muchismo is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Muchismo trying to control but Wilson flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

Muchismo looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Wilson is trying to stick to Muchismo's back but Muchismo is turning into Wilson. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Wilson's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Muchismo.

Muchismo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Muchismo postures up and lands a big shot to Wilson's brow.
Muchismo controls from within his opponent's guard.
Wilson is trying to control the position but Muchismo postures up.
Muchismo throws a big right hand that misses.
Wilson is trying to control the position but Muchismo postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marcosis Muchismo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Good leg kick by Muchismo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Muchismo closes the distance and clinches.
Wilson tries to pull guard but Muchismo won't allow it.

Muchismo manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Muchismo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wilson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wilson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Muchismo looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Wilson wants to control from the top but Muchismo keeps moving.
Muchismo wants to sweep here but Wilson controlling him for the moment.

Muchismo tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Muchismo keeping moving, preventing Wilson from controlling successfully.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Jerome Wilson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Muchismo cracks Wilson with an open hand slap.
Wilson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Muchismo manages to avoid it.
Muchismo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Wilson.
Muchismo misses with a two punch combination.
Muchismo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wilson sprawls well. Wilson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Muchismo gets slowly back to his feet.
Muchismo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Muchismo blocks a head kick by Wilson.
Wilson scores with a punch to the head.
Muchismo misses with a takedown attempt - Wilson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jerome Wilson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcosis Muchismo.
Muchismo tries to clinch up but Wilson circles away and keeps his distance.

Muchismo moves into range and clinches up with Wilson.

Muchismo drags the fight down to the ground.
Muchismo trying to keep a closed guard but Wilson is proving a slippery customer.

Wilson stays in close to Muchismo's body and controls the position.

Muchismo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Muchismo thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Wilson wants to control from the top but Muchismo keeps moving.
Muchismo wants to stand and escape but Wilson is having none of it.

And that's the end of the fight!
Marcosis Muchismo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Muchismo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
