0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oleg Dorosklov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fedor Slayer! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Dean Styles and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dorosklov stuffs the takedown attempt from Slayer. Slayer gets slowly back to his feet. Slayer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dorosklov pinned against the cage. Dorosklov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Slayer is looking to clinch. Dorosklov closes the distance and clinches. Slayer drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Oleg Dorosklov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fedor Slayer. Slayer fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Slayer is trying to break free. Dorosklov manages to break the clinch.
Slayer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Dorosklov throws a head kick that misses. Dorosklov misses with a hook. Dorosklov rushes Slayer and presses him up against the cage. Dorosklov lands an elbow inside that Slayer shrugs off. Dorosklov breaks the clinch.

Dorosklov connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Dorosklov instigates a clinch. Dorosklov throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Dorosklov lands a right hand. Dorosklov gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Slayer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dorosklov is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dorosklov tries to free his leg and advance position but Slayer is retaining full guard. Slayer looking for a guillotine here but Dorosklov defends easily.
Dorosklov controls from within his opponent's guard. Dorosklov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Slayer is keeping the position for now. Slayer looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Slayer looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Slayer looks gassed! Dorosklov is stalling in the full guard. Dorosklov has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Slayer looking for a guillotine here but Dorosklov defends easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Dorosklov wants to control from the top but Slayer keeps moving. Slayer isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dorosklov stacks Slayer on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dorosklov! Dorosklov trying to control the action but Slayer is working from the bottom. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Dorosklov decides to stand back up. Dorosklov steps back and let's Slayer get back to his feet. Dorosklov gets a clinch. Dorosklov lands an elbow just above Slayer 's eye. Dorosklov crunches a lovely knee into Slayer's ribcage. Dorosklov jumps guard and drags Slayer to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Dorosklov controlling Slayer's posture. Slayer tries to free his leg and advance position but Dorosklov is retaining full guard. Dorosklov is trying to keep Slayer in close.
Slayer trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Dorosklov wants to stand and escape but Slayer is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dorosklov misses with a hook. Slayer ducked under it nicely. Dorosklov rushes Slayer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Dorosklov manages to break the clinch.
Dorosklov gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Dorosklov lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Dorosklov has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Slayer is trying to keep an underhook but Dorosklov manages to get the takedown into half guard. Slayer moves into full guard.
Slayer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Slayer working for a triangle but Dorosklov defends it easily.
Slayer has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Dorosklov is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Slayer. Slayer is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slayer is not content to let Dorosklov control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Dorosklov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Slayer, who protects the arm well. Slayer is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Dorosklov's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Dorosklov is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Slayer manages to get to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slayer throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Dorosklov avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Slayer has his foot on Dorosklov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dorosklov works his way back into a safe position though. Dorosklov slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dorosklov would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Slayer has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Dorosklov is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Slayer. Dorosklov advances to mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dorosklov manages to capitalize on a mistake by Slayer to take his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Dorosklov. Slayer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dorosklov's waist but Dorosklov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Slayer off to one side. Nice body kick there by Dorosklov. Dorosklov moves into the clinch. Dorosklov jumps guard and drags Slayer to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Slayer won't allow Dorosklov to sweep him here. Slayer is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dorosklov is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dorosklov has escaped and now he's on top! Dorosklov stands up from Slayer's guard - Dorosklov perhaps looking for a knockout. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dorosklov closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Dorosklov controlling the action here for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dorosklov lands a nice knee to the body. Dorosklov landing knees to the body.
Dorosklov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dorosklov clinches. Dorosklov has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Slayer uses from the top position. Dorosklov keeping full guard, as Slayer tries to pass. Slayer avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dorosklov has Slayer pulled in close to control his posture. Slayer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dorosklov swivels though and keeps the full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Slayer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dorosklov keeping moving, preventing Slayer from controlling successfully.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Dorosklov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Slayer's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dorosklov preventing the sweep. Dorosklov trying to stand up but can't free himself from Slayer's guard. Dorosklov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Slayer on the ground. Dorosklov looking to pass the guard. Slayer wants to improve his position but instead Dorosklov has moved into half guard.
Dorosklov passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Slayer! Slayer wants to hold on but Dorosklov pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Dorosklov controlling his opponent. Slayer is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Fedor Slayer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! Oleg Dorosklov showed his dominance in that final round. Well Dorosklov has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
