Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between GungHo Jesus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calvin Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jesus comes to the cage accompanied by Psychedelic Super Jesus. GungHo Jesus has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jesus was well out of range. Poor timing from Tate.
A thudding body kick lands there by Jesus!
Tate fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jesus manages to avoid it.
Jesus moves in looking to clinch but Tate pushes him off.
Tate on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Jesus throws out a leg kick but Tate moves out of range and Jesus only half commits.
Tate swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jesus is looking to chop away at Tate's legs.

Jesus closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Tate scores with a nice hook to the head.
A nice right hand lands inside from Tate.
Tate is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Jesus is defending well.
Jesus throws a head punch that misses.

Tate works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jesus looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tate is one step ahead there.

Tate missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Tate chips away with some ground and pound.
Tate working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Tate trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Tate has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Tate throwing strikes from guard but Jesus blocks nicely.
Jesus wants to stand up but Tate is controlling him.
Jesus seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Tate thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Jesus is looking to stand up but Tate isn't so interested in that idea.
Jesus will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Jesus wants to stand and escape but Tate is having none of it.
Tate trying to control but Jesus is working from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A low kick from Jesus is predictable there
and Tate counters with a lovely straight right hand!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tate bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jesus's head.
Tate swings for the body but Jesus moves out of range.
Tate moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
A clash of legs there as Tate blocks the low kick.
Jesus throws a lazy head kick
and Tate counters with a nice uppercut.

Tate drops Jesus with a beautiful combination! Jesus stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Tate is looking for the KO!

Jesus is rocked!
Tate scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jesus doesn't seem bothered though.
Oh Jesus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Tate gets a double leg takedown into Jesus's guard.
Tate won't allow Jesus to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tate forces his way into half guard.
Jesus wants to improve his position but Tate is controlling well.
Jesus wants to sweep but Tate has passed to side control!
Jesus is trying to get back to half guard.
Tate in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Tate working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Jesus seems to have got his legs back now.
Jesus tries to bench press Tate off him but Tate keeps the position.
Tate landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jesus is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Jesus is working hard here to advance position.

Tate is working Jesus over with some ground and pound from side control.
Tate lands a nice forearm strike.
Tate scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Jesus is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Tate can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
