The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia goes for a double leg but Calverson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Calverson continues to drive forward.
Garcia wants to stall.

Garcia wants a takedown but no success here.
Garcia is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Calverson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Calvin Calverson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brabo Garcia.
Garcia with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Calverson wants to break free but Garcia has control.

Calverson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Garcia is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Calverson to the mat. Calverson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Calverson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Garcia on the ground.
Calverson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Garcia looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Calverson has picked Garcia up and slammed him! Garcia can't keep hold of the triangle and Calverson manages to pass to side control!
