The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Goroyevski.
Nelson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Nelson wants to take the fight to the mat but Goroyevski manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Goroyevski jumps guard and drags Nelson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Nelson is fighting to break Goroyevski's control of his arms but Goroyevski is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Nelson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Goroyevski as he jumps to the side.
Goroyevski connects with a right that clearly hurt Nelson. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Goroyevski proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Nelson collapses and taps out under the pressure!
