Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tarmo Hovi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Socha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hovi comes to the cage accompanied by Die for Metal. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Karl Socha was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Socha misses with a low kick as Hovi jumps back.
Hovi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Tarmo Hovi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Socha counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hovi's guard now.

Socha goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Good leg kick by Socha there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Hovi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Socha feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hovis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Socha is nestled in close to Hovi, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Socha tries to pass to full mount but Hovi defends it.
Socha seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hovi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Socha thows a huge punch but Hovi dodges it nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hovi has his feet on Socha's thighs here. He's pushed Socha off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Socha screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
