Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Bellamy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Osama Bin Laden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bellamy comes into the arena with Confined blaring out of the sound system. Osama Bin Laden has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Sam Bellamy's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Bellamy!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Osama Bin Laden!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bin Laden is looking to land body kicks.

Bin Laden drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Bin Laden looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Bin Laden just content to control the position.
Bellamy is trying to get back to half guard.

Bin Laden is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bellamy knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Bellamy decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bin Laden, up you get!

Bellamy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bin Laden's guard.

and Bin Laden decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bellamy's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bin Laden stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bellamy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bellamy is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Bellamy is trying to keep Bin Laden in close.

A close round but Osama Bin Laden will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Bellamy bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bin Laden's head.

Bellamy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bin Laden is fending him off so far but Bellamy persists. Nope, Bin Laden circles away and we're back to standing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bin Laden had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bellamy is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bin Laden Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bellamy's back instead.

Bellamy looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Bin Laden is riding his opponent, not letting Bellamy buck him off.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


No joy there for Bin Laden, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.

Oh but Bin Laden is tightening it up a little... Bellamy has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Bellamy reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Bellamy taps out! nice BJJ there by Bin Laden!
