Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Buster Cherry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Godbeard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cherry comes to the cage accompanied by D-12 - Fight Music . Godbeard has chosen God Save the Queen as his entrance music. Buster Cherry could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Robin Godbeard's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Godbeard.
Godbeard lands a nice shot that snaps Cherry's head back.
It looks like Buster Cherry has been cut.
Cherry shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Nice defenses there by Cherry.
Cherry shoots for a double leg takedown but Godbeard sprawls well. He's pushed Cherry's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Godbeard looks to land a body kick but Cherry moved away.
Godbeard misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cherry dives in and grabs Godbeard's left leg, looking for a takedown. Godbeard pushes down on Cherry's head and hops out.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cherry connects with a nice short shot to Godbeard's temple.
Cherry thows a huge punch but Godbeard dodges it nicely.
Cherry is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Cherry thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Cherry is working for a kimura but Godbeard is defending it quite comfortably.
Cherry sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Godbeard defending well though.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cherry landing with the ground and pound.
Cherry trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Cherry throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Cherry throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Godbeard works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Cherry has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Cherry not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Godbeard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cherry. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cherry's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cherry has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Cherry seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Godbeard for as long as he can get away with.
Buster Cherry has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Cherry drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Cherry wants to control but Godbeard is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Godbeard avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Cherry.
Cherry throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Cherry looks up at the clock and then as Godbeard takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Cherry smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Cherry has an Americana. Godbeard didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Cherry is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Cherry hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

During a confident post fight interview, Buster Cherry thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
