Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Abednego Smiff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Tebow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smiff stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Smiff wants it to stay on the feet.
Tebow throws a right and a left that Smiff avoids nicely.
Tebow doesn't manage to clinch there - Smiff circles away.

and Smiff counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Smiff.
Tebow is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Smiff is pressed up against the cage. Tebow has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Smiff down to the mat. Smiff avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Abednego Smiff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Tebow.

Tebow shoots in and bounces Smiff off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Smiff is on top in guard.

Smiff wants to control from the top but Tebow keeps moving.

Smiff has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Smiff goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Tebow is on top in guard.

Smiff is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tebow can do anything to dispel that myth.
Smiff passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Tebow!

Smiff wants to finish this one by submission but Tebow is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Smiff.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
