Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Rambo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abednego Smiff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Rambo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Abednego Smiff!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rambo lands with a right hand.
Rambo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Smiff.
Smiff fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rambo sprawls well initially but Smiff persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Smiff moves nicely into side control.
Smiff has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Rambo!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Smiff cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Rambo has left one of his arms exposed and Smiff doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Rambo screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Abednego Smiff!
