Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dominick McAndrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shawn Robinson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McAndrews pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Robinson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A slow jab from McAndrews misses its intended target.

McAndrews throws a right and a left that Robinson avoids nicely.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
McAndrews throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Robinson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Robinson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches McAndrews napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dominick McAndrews will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Robinson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

and Robinson counters by moving into the clinch.

Robinson jumps guard and drags McAndrews to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Robinson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McAndrews gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
McAndrews knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Robinson on the ground.
McAndrews has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Robinson is proving hard to escape from.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Robinson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Robinson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Robinson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Robinson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so McAndrews is just riding it out for now. Robinson eventually gives up the hold.
