Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timmay Hererra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Du (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Du throws the kick towards the body but Hererra avoids it.
Du goes for a double leg but Hererra avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hererra continues to drive forward.
Du is trying to pull guard but Hererra turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Du tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Timmay Hererra has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Du.

Du jumps guard and drags Hererra to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Hererra tries to stand but Du is controlling from the bottom.
Hererra trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Du is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Du throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hererra's waist but Hererra gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Du off to one side.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hererra creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
