Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Diggler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Hendo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diggler's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, acdc back in black. Dirk Diggler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendo swinging wildly here.
Diggler tries to close the distance and clinch but Hendo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hendo misses with a double jab.
Hendo gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Hendo clinches up against the cage.

Diggler blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Hendo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hendo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Hendo wants to clinch.
Diggler throws a solid leg kick but Hendo takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Diggler.
Hendo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Diggler circles away quickly and effectively.
Sloppy strikes from Diggler. Those never looked like landing.
Diggler throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Diggler with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hendo to score with a decent uppercut.

Hendo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Diggler.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hendo throws a push kick but Diggler slaps the foot to one side.

Hendo throws a left and a right that both miss
and Diggler counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hendo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hendo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Hendo darts in and clinches Diggler up against the cage.

Diggler keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hendo's efforts to push away.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Hendo has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Diggler clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Hendo lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Dirk Diggler will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Danny Hendo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hendo lands with a hook. Diggler tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Diggler is rocked!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Hendo knocks Diggler out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
