PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Venture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsuyori Shibata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Venture comes into the arena with Party Hard by Andrew W.K. blaring out of the sound system. Jason Venture has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shibata throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Venture tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Shibata is in Venture's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Shibata has gone for a leg lock! Venture slips out almost immediately though and dives into Shibata's guard.

Shibata has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Venture can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
