The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Box throws a low kick but it's checked well by Riddle.
Box scores with the left hand. Riddle knows he should have avoided that one.
Riddle takes a head kick and keeps coming.
A punch lands to the side of Box 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Box throws a hook but Riddle blocks it.
Box throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Riddle on the side of the head.
Riddle avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

John Riddle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Riddle lands a leg kick that knocks Box off balance momentarily.
Riddle ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

and Riddle counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
