The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saukko tries to close the distance and clinch up but Flamme swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Saukko throws a head kick but Flamme moves out of range.
Saukko tries to clinch up but Flamme circles away and keeps his distance.
Par Saukko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saukko pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
A looping hook to the body misses from Flamme. Saukko does a little dance to reset his feet.

Flamme closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Saukko's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Flamme stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Saukko swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Flamme stops Saukko from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Flamme is in close to Saukko's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Flamme lands a couple of elbows.
Flamme might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Flamme passes Saukko's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Flamme throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Flamme cracks Saukko with an elbow. That is naaassty.

It looks like Par Saukko has been cut.
Flamme lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
A lull in the action here as Flamme stalls from top position.

That has opened up Par Saukko's cut even more.
Saukko is trying to get back to his feet.
Saukko is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Par Saukko's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Par Saukko's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
