Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mason Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakeem Jabbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jabbar has chosen Passion Pit - Carried Away as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jabbar works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Mason Storm has been cut.
Jabbar throws a shot from downtown. Storm moves away and avoids it.
A nice inside leg kick there by Storm. That's going to slow Jabbar down.

Jabbar drives through and clinches with Storm against the cage.
Storm lands with a light punch inside.
Storm throws an elbow but it misses.
A short uppercut from Storm.
Storm has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jabbar is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Jabbar lands a good knee to the midsection. Storm won't want to take too many of those.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Storm looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Storm misses with a short punch on the inside.
Storm misses with a hook to the ribs.

Jabbar successfully pulls guard.
Storm throwing strikes but missing.
Storm throwing strikes from guard but Jabbar blocks nicely.
Jabbar is trying to keep Storm in close.

Storm has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jabbar is proving hard to escape from.
Jabbar keeping moving, preventing Storm from controlling successfully.
Jabbar wants to get back to his feet but Storm is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Storm cracks Jabbar with a solid left hand.
Jabbar trying to keep a closed guard but Storm is proving a slippery customer.
Storm wants to stand but Jabbar has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Jabbar pushes Storm off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jabbar feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Storms jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Storm tries to clinch there but Jabbar circles away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jabbar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Jabbar has managed to clinch.

Jabbar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Storm misses with a double jab.
Jabbar throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Storm.
Storm motions for Jabbar to come forward. Storm throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Storm feints a jab promting Jabbar to slip. Storm then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Jabbar slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Storm wants to clinch.
Storm is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jabbar.
Jabbar drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Storm right on the button. Storm goes down! Jabbar follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Jabbar gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hakeem Jabbar!
After winning the bout, Hakeem Jabbar thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
