Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damian Fat Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Joey Jackson enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Fat Boy enables Jackson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fat Boy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fat Boy looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Jackson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Jackson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Let's hope that Jackson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Joey Jackson was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Jackson moves into range and clinches up with Fat Boy.

Fat Boy is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jackson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Fat Boy to the mat. Fat Boy regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Jackson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fat Boy's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Jackson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Fat Boy's half guard.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Joey Jackson has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Jackson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jackson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jackson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
