Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between GK Jnr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chilz Barkley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barkley throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jnr was covering up waiting for the punch and Barkley finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jnr striking off his back but it's not causing Barkley any problems.
Jnr is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jnr throws his legs up looking for a submission but Barkley uses it to pass to side control.
Barkley wants to stand but Jnr is controlling his arm.
Jnr is looking for a sweep.
Jnr manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Jnr is trying to control but can't.
Barkley thows a huge punch but Jnr dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barkley is keen to just control but Jnr is a slippery customer.
Jnr is trying to maintain the position but Barkley is very close to passing his half guard.

Jnr has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Barkley is working away from the top position though.
Jnr might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Barkley goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like GK Jnr has been cut.
Barkley moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Barkley feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jnr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Barkley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jnr lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.

Barkley with a flurry of punches that miss.
Barkley wants to control from the top but Jnr keeps moving.

Jnr is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Barkley defends well.

Barkley seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Chilz Barkley hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Nice sprawl there from Jnr as Barkley shoots in.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Barkley is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jnr's half guard.

Chilz Barkley dominated that round.

That's time! Jnr's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Jnr shoots in looking for a takedown. Barkley tries to sprawl out of it but Jnr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Barkley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Barkley misses with a takedown attempt - Jnr sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Chilz Barkley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Barkley fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jnr sprawls well initially but Barkley persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Jnr moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Jnr is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Barkley has his hands clasped together but Jnr extends and breaks Barkley's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Jnr.
