The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beckham fails with the takedown.
De La Vega closes the distance and clinches up with Beckham, looking for a takedown. De La Vega pushes Beckham against the cage but Beckham circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

De La Vega wants to control for a moment but Beckham uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

De La Vega wants to lay and pray for a moment but Beckham keeps working.

Beckham bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Beckham has De La Vega pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. De La Vega manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

De La Vega drops Beckham with a beautiful combination! Beckham stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - De La Vega is looking for the KO!

Beckham is trying desperately to land a takedown but De La Vega is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Beckham.
